This cemetery is located 15 ft east of Midget Avenue in the Nausauket section at telephone pole #10.5. This cemetery is 100 ft x 50 ft, in very poor condition, with no enclosure. The historic cemetery sign is missing. At one time there were 30 burials with 22 inscribed stones and 6 fieldstones. It is on the tax assessor’s map, Plat #367, Lot #548. This cemetery was heavily vandalized in 1970s and 1980s. Much of the damage was done when automobiles were driven through the cemetery and down the hill to the field beyond. Only pieces of five stones could be found in 1995. Some gravestones were moved to Warwick cemetery #125, behind #341 Providence Street about 1915. James Arnold visited this lot 11 Oct. 1891 and noted, “on the farm on the east side of the Taylor farm across the road in open lot unprotected” (Vol. 4, p. 198). Recorded by John Sterling for a book on Warwick cemeteries.
