CommentThis cemetery has not been found Date of Arnold’s visit: Feb. 26, 1880 His number: #34 Arnold’s comments: “on plain east of house now occupied by Miss Dorcas Champlin is an unprotected yard in open lot said to be John Babcock and family an old pioneer who first settled in this section, graves numerous but impossible to count [because of] obliteration by the plow, should say about 30 [fieldstones].” Our comments: This cemetery should be on Fairgrounds Road between SK 93 (Arnold #32) and SK 55 (Arnold #35). Probably on the southwest corner of Route #138 and Fairgrounds Road. Formerly known as SK 510.
