This cemetery is located 815 feet east of South Road. To reach the cemetery, follow the trail leading from the northeast corner of the South Street Elementary School to the South Kingstown athletic fields. About one hundred feet before reaching the road to the parking lot the cemetery is in the left (north) side of the trail. The athletic fields can also be reached from Curtis Corner Road. The cemetery is eighty by one hundred feet, in fair condition, enclosed with a stone wall; the historical cemetery sign is in fair condition. It contains 22 burials with twenty inscribed stones and two fieldstones (see map on previous page). James N. Arnold visited this lot Nov. 7, 1880, his #223, “on land of George Sweet heirs west of his house lot walled in good order the burial yard of his family.” Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
