CommentLocated north of Mineral Springs Ave. and East of Conant Street. Data from Ethel White's notes Grace G Tillinghast recorded this cemetery on July 12, 1932. Her transcription can be found in Arnold's records, Volume 22 pages 1-107. Her description of cemetery is as follows: "There are many old graves in this cemetery, many stones broken or flat on the ground; many shattered or plastered over with a granular substance, making difficult to interpret or read. It was necessary to get a pick and pry up some of the stones, to read. The seven tombs at eastern side are a unique feature and some are inscribed on door or above. Every tomb door was open and one flat on the ground. Debris piled in front of first one on the avenue. An ornamental iron fence near is broken and out of place." She also has a small transcription in Volume 15 (Lincoln, RI) on page 136. The date of transcription is November 22, 1930, and it simply says "Mineral Spring Cemetery, all this in one lot." I have put the letters "GGT" in the lot section to help distinguish this transcription. I am making the assumption that they belong in this cemetery. Cemetery was also transcribed by Charles P & Martha A Benns in the 1930's. Their transcription consisted of only 13 names and can be found in Vol IV, page 75 and Vol V, page 71. They recorded cemetery as #739 Ethel White (EMW) transcribed some of the stones in this cemetery in the 1930s. Her records are at the Spaulding Library in Pawtucket.
