CommentThis cemetery is 450 feet north of Farmlands Road and 1750 feet east of Wapping Road. Drive 3/10 mile to Duck Pond at pump house, cemetery over wall. George H. Richardson visited this cemetery in 1892, gave the location as "'Vau Cluse,' Hazard Farm near shore" (Richardson Scrapbook 974 at NHS). Patricia Bodine copied it for CETA 14 Apr. 1976. She found very well maintained stones, many in Quaker format, surrounded by a well-maintained iron fence. Not found by Ian Kohl 1989. The gravestones were photographed by Letty Champion. In 2002 this is inside of a gated community. In 2009 it was cleared of shrubs.
