CommentJames Arnold, #63, 1 Jun 1880, "In Wickford a short distance northeast from the town house is a burial yard beautifully walled and capped in which we read." Removed to Elmgrove and Quidnessett Cemeteries. The beautifully walled site of this old yard still exists. It lies behind the residences on West Main St. about opposite the old Town House.
