CommentThe two slate stones in this cemetery have been removed to Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Exeter, EX022. The cemetery was located on the west side of Tower Hill Road, at 565 where now stands the Oak Hill Tavern. Arnold located it beside road, a short distance south of Belleville Station on the brow of a hill. Burgess describes it on a knoll rear of Belleville Inn. This yard is on the plat map and also on the deed. Unable to locate stones in 1990. James Arnold recorded this lot April 2, 1881, his #87, "beside road a short distance south of Belleville Station on brow of hill a burial yard unprotected."
