The mound is adjacent to the side of the house. The house is at the end of Willow Ave. My father Gerald Noel bought the lot in the early 60s…then built a house there in approximately 1990. He was in a wheelchair most of his life…so the house has a 3 sided deck. Some time before the house was built, kids broke into the mound via a small entrance door. The kids took some bones out of the mound for some type of “Satanic ritual”. The police were able to confiscate the bones, return them to the mound, then seal the trap door. The door is cemented over and will not open. My father told me the farmers family was buried in the mound. There are letters HK or BK with a date of 1867 or 1869 (18 something) carved into the granite block that makes up the mound.
