CommentThis cemetery was located on the grounds of the Franciscan Monastery on Diamond Hill Road. A fire destroyed the monastory and the Franciscan Order had the eight bodies exhumed and reburied on their Abbey property in Spencer, Mass. Another version says these bodies were all exhumed and sent to New York except for one man, a custodian who wished to be buried there. This is according to David Balfour on 11-3-92.
