James Arnold visited this lot 14 Nov 1890 (Vol 3, pg 259) Maj. Thomas Fenner lot situated in an open field east of the present village of Thornton a distance of about one third of a mile, lot fenced with granite posts and iron rails in good condition.
Emma B Shaw recorded this lot in 1925.
The RI cemetery registration list says this cemetery was removed to Highland Cemetery in Johnston in 1959, but this is not true. The cemetery is still in a residential area on Britton St.
