Notes[S/O John & Sarah (Peck), was born at Cumberland in 1751 and died at Cumberland 19 May 1814. He marrie Nov 1783 Hannah Weatherhead, d/o Capt. Enoch and Ann (Dexter). Some of their children were Evelena and Obed. Daniel served as Surgeon on the sloop "Katy" (later renamed th "Providence"), a vessel of war fitted out and employed in the service of the colony of Rhode Island, under the command of Commodore Abraham Whipple from June 1775 to 3 Jan 1776 and as Assistant Director, under D Jonathan Arnold, in the General Hospital of the RI Second Continental Battalion in Oct 1777.
