[S/O Capt Daniel & Abigail (Ware), was born at Cumberland 30 July 1741 and died at Cumberland 2 March 1818 in his 77th year. He married at Wrentham, MA 3 March 1774 Jerusha Ray, daughter of Samuel & Elizabeth (Teuls) Ray. Their children were Mehitable & Joab. [SAR: Joab served in Capt. Elisha Waterman's Minuteman Company in Feb 1776 and as a Private in the First Company of Cumberland Militia under the command of Capt. Enoch Weatherhead from 21 Aug to 1 Sept 1778 in Sullivan's Expedition. He served as a member of the Cumberland Town Council in 1778.]--JJR Died: CUMBERLAND, RI
