Notes
Rhode Island Adjutant General's Report of 1865 reports that he was a Corporal assigned to Co. A & G of the 1st R.I. Cavalry from 23 Nov 1861 to 3 Aug 1865. His marker is a simple government issue stone which gives only his surname and initials, and erroneously states "Co. C.". There is a possibility that this individual was originally buried in Woodlawn Cemetery. Born in Central Falls, RI. Military records show that he was 5'-6.5" tall, dark complexion, grey eyes and dark hair. Saw action in 33 battles, including 2nd Bull Run and Chancellorsville. died: WOONSOCKET, RI
