Carver
JOHN STEVENS I
Notes/Misc Details
Notes
pic -1717/18 carved by John Stevens I and lettered by his son Philip. It depends on when this stone was carved how old Philip was. He was born in 1706 so he was 12-14 years old and this was one of the very earliest he carved. There are a few errors in the lettering.
