Notes[pictured in SPINEA pub Old-Time New England Vol. xv, No. 2, Oct 1924 "Slat Gravestones of New England"] This stone was photographed about 1980 by Dan Farber. In 1992 it was found in storage at the Veteran's cemetery where Ed Connelly put it for protection as it was by then reduced to four pieces about 1/4 inch thick. It was photographed in that state by John Sterling and Vincent Luti. Dn Farber photographed this stone about 1980 before it was broken. In 2008 a check of the storage building at the Veteran's cemetery revealed that it had been cleaned out and all of the gravestone fragments left there had been cleaned out and were missing.
