Commenteast of lot WY042 Denison recorded this lot in 1867: "About four rods east of the Denison and Champlin Ground in a pasture are four or more unprotected graves marked by rude head and footstones. Here were buried slaves belonging to Samuel Thompson and his family. One of these slaves was named Gerand." Approx. location: 41 20' 42.3" N 71 49' 26.68" W
