CommentDenison recorded this lot in 1867: "This lies on the cross road from the post-road to Dorrville, about 100 rods west of the road on the Wells farom about southwest from the residence of Libbeus Sisspn Esq in a meadow and is inclosed. The graves are few and unlettered. It is reported to contain the bodies of Indians. It also contains the remains of black. Here are the remains of Bristoe Congdon and his children."
