This cemetery is located 200 ft west of Post Road at telephone pole #363, behind the Cowesett Hills Apartment complex. It is 90 ft x 120 ft, in fair condition, enclosed with a stone wall. The historic cemetery sign is in good condition. There are 72 burials with 72 inscribed names. Many stones pushed over but few are damaged. It is on the tax assessor’s map, Plat #236, Lot #98. James Arnold visited this lot 31 Aug. 1890 and noted “finely walled and cemented, a short distance south of the Apponaug schoolhouse, on west side of road” (Vol. 29, pp. 10-18). Recorded by John Sterling for a book on Warwick cemeteries.
