CommentThis cemetery is located beside Spring Green Road on the east side at the corner of Narragansett Parkway, at telephone pole #13. It is 40 ft x 40 ft, in good condition, with no enclosure. The historic cemetery sign is missing. The cemetery contains 35 burials, with 4 inscribed stones and 31 fieldstones. It is on the tax assessor’s map, Plat #303, Lot #566. James Arnold visited this lot 17 Aug. 1890 and commented, “on the east side of Spring Green Farm Road, about one mile north of Spring Green Farm at Doukes Hill. There are some Doukes buried here” (Vol. 1, p. 159). Arnold noted 31 fieldstones and 4 slate gravestones. The fieldstones are gone in 1994. In the Arnold collection at the Knight Library, Vol. 29, p. 219, is another transcript done in 1930 by D. W. Seamans. Recorded by John Sterling for a 1997 book on Warwick cemeteries.
