| Comment | This cemetery is located 300 ft south of Harrison Street, Pawtuxet, at the center of the Pawtuxet Memorial Park Cemetery. It is 625 ft. west of Fair St. It contains about 600 burials with 427 inscribed stones and 6 fieldstones. It is on the tax assessor’s map Plat #301, Lot #404.48.
James Arnold visited this lot 13-20 July 1890 and commented, “The Arnold Burial Ground on the old Arnold homestead farm at Pawtuxet, lot in good order, well kept” (Vol. 1, pp. 1-138). The cemetery has been divided into two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’ for recording. Section ‘A’ is east of the center road, and ‘B’ is west.
