CommentRegistered and transcribed by Roger Beaudry in spring 2003. This lot can best be located by entering wooded area behind SM069. travel down hill, across a narrow brook and begin to climb hill. Once you come to a stone wall, follow it to the left. Where wall makes a turn to the north, you will find fieldstone lot. This lot may be the one described by James N. Arnold. His transcript of Sept 24, 1919 (Vol 25, page 279) describes a lot as follows: "East of here (SM069) a matter of some 25 rods in open pasture on land now owned by George P Grant is a burial yard containing some dozen graves, all field stone marked. Of what familyies we were not able to learn."
