This cemetery is located 4,200 feet southwest of Worden’s Pond Road about half way between Biscuit City Road and Sand Trail Road, about nine hundred feet east of the Charlestown line. It is sixty by forty feet, in good condition, with no enclosure and no historical cemetery sign. Seven fieldstone-marked graves could be seen in 1999. It is about five hundred feet east of the “upper Browning farm” the cellar hole of which still exists. James N. Arnold visited this lot Oct. 7, 1880, his #146, “on land of Denison Browning in pasture unprotected.” “About here are scattered numerous graves of whom unknown but are told they were Peter Worden and his family and friends.” Many of these graves are level with the ground. Found, registered, and recorded by John Sterling & James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
