CommentJames N. Arnold recorded this lot 5 Oct 1880, his #121, “on land of Horace May east of his house on lot (corner of) otherwise unprotected burial yard of the Babcock family. In corner 2 small and 1 large grave at feet of which we find … .” At least one grave from this cemetery, that of Mary Emma Burdick, was removed to Oakdell Cemetery, SK 37, section B. The fate of the fieldstone-marked graves is unknown. Identified, registered, and recorded by John Sterling & James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
