CommentThis cemetery no longer exists in its original location on the west side of Wash Pond. Rahamah Whaley was removed to Riverside Cemetery in Wakefield where she is buried next to her husband, Jeremiah B. The Goodchild children were removed to the Perryville Church Cemetery, section H, where they are buried next to their parents. Arnold recorded this lot Oct. 12, 1880, his #160, “on land of Mrs. Goodchild north of her house and on west side of wash pond, lot walled and in prime order a burial yard of the family, a few evergreens here.” He found the four graves listed below and one unidentified grave, all marked with rude stones. Identified, registered, and recorded by John Sterling & James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
