This cemetery is located 850 feet south of Route #1, Post Road and east of the Commodore Perry Homestead. Follow the driveway at 1044 Post Road for 850 feet (690 feet in from the gate) and then go off the west side of drive 160 feet to the cemetery. It is sixty feet square, in poor condition, with no enclosure or historical cemetery sign. James N. Arnold found 55 fieldstones and two slate stones in 1880. In 1992 one slate footstone and about forty fieldstones could be found. A check of this cemetery in 2003 showed the same stones were there. James N. Arnold visited this lot Dec. 9, 1880, his #263, “northeast from Rev. E. F. Watson’s house on top of hill a burial yard, no protection.” Found, registered, and recorded by John Sterling & James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
