This cemetery is located 25 feet east of Upper College Road at telephone pole #2. This cemetery in 2001 was just a grass-covered lot one hundred feet square behind the Kingston Library at the corner of Moorsfield Road and Upper College Road. No stones remain. According to Arnold, this cemetery contained at least 81 burials with three inscribed stones and 78 fieldstones. James N. Arnold recorded this lot Feb. 20, 1880, his #5, “a few rods north of the County Court House at Kingston in southeast corner of lot yard unprotected we [find] these inscriptions, beside which we count 78 graves with rude stones. Judge E. R. Potter told us his great grandfather and mother are among those here also the Peckhams and Cottrells and Frenches and some other familiar about Kingston Hill have their representatives.” Found, registered, and recorded by John Sterling & James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
