CommentThis cemetery is located ten feet north of Sand Plain Road at telephone pole #6592 / 40, adjacent to SK051. It is directly across from Apple Tree Lane. It is thirty feet square, in excellent condition, enclosed with a stone wall. Although the historical cemetery sign is in good condition, it is incorrect: it reads #25 and should be changed to #117. There are four burials with one inscribed fieldstone and four plain fieldstones. James N. Arnold visited this lot Oct. 6, 1880, his #139, “on land of Perry Holloway beside road and west of his house, a burial yard of four graves, three unmarked.” Found, registered, and recorded by John Sterling & James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
