This cemetery is located 400 feet north of Route #138 at telephone pole #3505½. It is fifty feet square, in fair condition, enclosed with granite posts and iron rails, and the historical cemetery sign is missing. It contains nine burials with nine inscribed stones. James N. Arnold visited this lot May 12, 1880, his #96, “on land of Palmer Gardiner in open lot protected by a wooden fence a distance east of his house in open view of the road is a burial yard of his family.” Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
