This cemetery is located 220 feet south of Bridgetown Road in back of the garage at Rockledge Farm. The drive goes in and turns to the east where the garage is on the left and the house on the right. The burial ground is 35 feet x 60 feet, in good condition, enclosed with a stone wall, and the historical cemetery sign is in poor condition. It contains fourteen burials with seven inscribed stones and seven fieldstones. James N. Arnold visited this cemetery Mar. 29, 1880, his #71, “on land of Joshua Brown a short distance north of his house is an old Gardiner burial yard walled in and in fair condition.” Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
