This cemetery is located beside Walmsley Lane (AKA Pettaqumscutt Road) on the west side at telephone pole #12 ½, two hundred feet north of the site of the Glebe. The Glebe was the home of ministers of Old St. Paul’s Episcopal Church starting with Rev. James MacSparran in 1733. The church was located at “the Platform” on Shermantown Road from 1707 until 1800 when it was moved to Wickford. The cemetery is 25 feet x 35 feet, in fair condition, enclosed with a stone wall, and the historical cemetery sign is in fair condition. It contains fourteen burials with four inscribed stones and ten fieldstones. James N. Arnold recorded this lot Mar. 29, 1880, his #67, “north of the old Glebe house west side of road is a burial yard walled in and in fair condition.” Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
