This cemetery is west of Rodman Street off George Schaeffer Road and west of New St. Francis Cemetery at telephone pole #1951. It is 70 feet x 150 feet, in fair condition, enclosed with a combined stone wall and granite posts, and the historical cemetery sign is in good condition. It contains 76 burials with 64 inscribed stones and twelve fieldstones. The east wall is a double granite wall capped with granite, the southern boundary has only granite posts that once held iron rails. The north side is protected by a stone wall, and the west boundary has granite posts with remnants of a wooden picket fence. James N. Arnold visited this lot Aug. 2, 1880, his #113, “few rods north west from #112 [SK 70] is another yard or rather series of them we find three enclosed and one partly so we shall consider them one cemetery. North lot walled with double faced granite blocks and capped, inside planted with evergreen... next fenced with pickets.” Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
