CommentThis cemetery no longer exists. In 1979 when the Pettaquamscutt Historical Society conducted their survey, they found only the Hannah Barker stone. The cemetery was eighty feet southwest of the Rocky Brook Water Tower, behind #2 Sandy Bottom Shores Drive, at GPS coordinates N 41º 27.131' by W 71º 30.516'. Abraham Johnson, his wife and two children have been moved to Elm Grove Cemetery (NK026) in North Kingstown, lot #336. William H. Johnson and his wife were probably moved to Riverside Cemetery (SK043) in Wakefield, section A. There is a footstone near A-167 in SK043 with the initials “W. H. J.” and “C. J.” The headstone is missing. James N. Arnold visited this lot Mar. 16 1881, his #272, “west of school house at Rocky Brook a burial yard fenced in fair order we here read the following.”
