This cemetery is located four hundred feet south of Tuckertown Road; near the soccer fields in Tuckertown Park. It is 90 feet x 75 feet, in good condition, enclosed with granite posts and iron rails, with an iron gate, and the historical cemetery sign is in good condition. There are 78 burials with thirty marked with inscribed stones and 48 with plain fieldstones. The large table stones for the two Babcocks are very unusual and impressive. James N. Arnold recorded this lot Oct. 6, 1880, his #134, “on land of Mrs. Randall southwest of her house on plain, yard unprotected.” He found seven inscribed gravestones and 48 fieldstones. Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
