This cemetery is located fifty feet west of Willard Avenue at telephone pole # 5323. Willard Avenue is to the east, and Rockland Drive is to the north. It is 30 feet x 25 feet, in good condition, enclosed with a stone wall with an iron gate. The historical cemetery sign is in good condition. It contains sixteen burials with twelve inscribed stones and two fieldstones. Oliver Stedman was the younger brother of Daniel Stedman whose journal has provided much information on South Kingstown burials 1826-1859. James N. Arnold recorded this lot Dec. 11, 1880, his #267, “on land of Oliver Steadman (sic) north of his house, lot well walled faced and in good order.” Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
