This cemetery is located about twelve hundred feet east Rose Hill Road about halfway between Rte #138 and Saugatucket Road on Pearl's Way leading to a rifle club and a kennel and fifty feet north of this road at telephone pole #21-9.5. It is next to Rose Hill Pet Cemetery, across the road from the kennel. It is two hundred feet east from SK 23. It is one hundred feet by fifty feet, in fair condition, enclosed with a stone wall. The historical cemetery sign is in fair condition. This cemetery has 76 burials with nine inscribed stones and 67 fieldstones. James N. Arnold recorded this lot July 19, 1880, his #103, “on land of George Rose, Jr. a few rods west of his house is a burial yard of the Sherman family, lot walled but showing marks of neglect… 33 rude stones, those of colored people of this family.” Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
