This cemetery is located about 640 feet east of Rose Hill Road on Pearl's Way leading to a rifle club and a kennel and forty feet south of this road at telephone pole #21-5. It is fifty feet square, in good condition, enclosed with an iron fence, now broken, with an iron gate. The historical cemetery sign is in good condition. There are five inscribed marble stones and three unmarked fieldstones. James N. Arnold visited this lot July 19, 1880; his #104, “a few rods further west [from SK024] is a beautiful yard of the Sherman family on north side a bank wall on 3 sides three rows of evergreens inside of which a raised mound surrounded by iron fence in granite, lot in fair order. The stones sit here are such beautiful pieces of marble cocry[?] an open scroll upon which is the inscription, an open bible on top with text upon open pages.” Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
