This cemetery is located 160 feet west of Broad Rock Road at telephone pole # 4412, just north of house at #1610 Broad Rock Road, and near Mooresfield Road (Route #138). The cemetery is seventy feet square, in good condition, enclosed with granite posts and iron rails; the historical cemetery sign is in good condition. The Watsons are in a separate enclosure in the northwest corner of this lot. There are 44 burials with nineteen inscribed stones and 27 fieldstones. James N. Arnold recorded this lot Feb. 27, 1880, his #44, “the Watson burial yard a short distance northwest from the woolen mill at Moorsfield, on west side of river, lot protected with granite posts and iron rails.” It was also transcribed in the 1930s by an unidentified recorder whose work can be found in the Arnold records at the Elmwood Library in Providence. Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
