Located fifteen feet north of Mooresfield Road at telephone pole # 4418, this cemetery is 125 feet x 140 feet, in excellent condition, and enclosed with a stone wall with an iron gate. The historical cemetery sign is in good condition. There are 122 inscribed stones in this lot. James N. Arnold, visited this lot Feb. 27, 1880, his #42, “the Rose burial yard on road leading from Kingston to Mooresfield, lot walled in on three sides with double faced wall and fourth side with material on the ground, a large and beautiful yard.” His description is still true today. There is a beautiful cut stone wall with many metal rings mounted on the front wall for tying up horses. Recorded by John Sterling and James Wheaton for a 2004 book on South Kingstown cemeteries.
