CommentJames N Arnold visited this lot 22 Oct 1904 (Vol 5, Pg 286) On the bank of the Ponegansett River and back of the "Golden Ball" Inn there is we are told one grave, that of a stranger who was found hung to a limb of a great oak tree, near which he is buried. It was remembered at the time he had remarkably long arms.
