CommentThis cemetery is located 285 ft. SE of Matteson Road. Enter a dirt road 1440 ft. SE of Tunk Hill Road along Matteson Road. James N Arnold recorded this lot 21 Oct 1904 (Vol 5, Pg264) On the old Joseph Potter farm on a knoll in sight of road, well walled yard some neglected, wall pointed. Benns #975 & Benns #406; Nellie Potter "On road off from Furnace Rd. in Scituate. Road runs to new road that goes over the dam and once lead to old Tunk Hill Rd." Shown on George Matteson map on Matteson Road east of SC084. Recent logging operations (2006) in this area have exposed this lot and made it visable from Matteson Road. Was previously given the temporary number SC523.
