CommentOn restricted reservoir property A1-752; photo #697. stone walls north and east. James N Arnold visited this lot 4 Oct 1904 (Vol 4, Pg 8a) In the Friend's Meeting House Yard No. Scituate which lot is very badly overrun with locust trees, briars and wild grass, we find in the northwest corner two lines of graves, about 25 in all. Two of them had initialed D C and E C, rest were marked with fieldstones. We understand Comfort Luther and his wife were buried here. A postcard in posession of Cherry Bamberg states thet the Quaker Meeting House was sold at auction in 1910 with the understanding that the cemetery would be preserved.
