CommentLocated south of Central Ave. and East of N. Bend Street. City cemetery, contains 28.4 acres. 2 acres were purchased 19 May 1832 (the town was then Seekonk, Mass). 10 more acres were purchased 30 May 1852. The final land purchase was made 20 Oct 1883. Old section surveyed and plotted June 1862 by N. B. Schubarth. This cemetery was recorded in 2001-2002 by John E. Sterling and James Wheaton.
