CommentLocated in a triangle formed by Charles St., Branch Ave. and Hawkins St. The burying ground was conveyed to the town of No. Providence in 1791. In 1891 the Providence City Council condemned the site for public purposes. It was removed to the North Burial Ground in Providence In August of 1900, the original site becoming Admiral Hopkins Square. The information is in the North Burial Ground records, Book 8, pgs 79-81 James N Arnold transcribed this lot 22 Sep 1890.
