CommentA monument in Swan Point reads "..remains of 660 adults and 327 children removed to Swan Point from First Congregational burial place used 1722-1785 and from the second burial place used 1785-1848" This cemetery was at the corner of Broad and Weybosset St. on an acre of land purchased from Dr. John Hoyle in July of 1722.
