CommentA single stone recorded by Dr. Henry Turner (HET) in the late 19th centuryand by ANON, "Rhode Island Tombstone Inscriptions," circa 1900 at RIHS. ANON gave the location as the Benjamin White farm, Middle Road, Portsmouth. The 1895 atlas of southern RI towns shows White's farm west of Middle Road in the area of what is now Stonegate Drive.
