This cemetery is 550 feet north of Old Mill Lane behind #149. In 2009 this cemetery was in poor condition because vandals had broken the gravestones and it was overgrown with woody vines. George H. Richardson (GHR) recorded this lot in Oct. 1892 in his Richardson Scrapbook 974 now at Newport Historical Society. He described the location of the "Dennis Ground" as "Old Ogden Farm of Portsmouth, east of Wapping Road, north of the house." Patricia Bodine and Denise Johnson visited it 14 Apr. 1976 for CETA. They found it in very poor condition: the stones were cracked, all but three knocked down, some faces drilled into, rusty iron pipes scattered throughout, the fence in need of repair. Partial remains of a tomb different from the one recorded were also found, but no inscriptions could be read. They found two stones signed "E. Smith, jun." Ian Kohl and his group could not locate it in 1989. In 2006 Letty Champion photographed the gravestones.
