Comment	Recorded by G H Richardson 1870. He gives the exact location as "Dyre's Farm, late Robert L. Maitlands" (GH Richardson Scrapbook 974, Vol. A, copy at NHS). Staff at NHS believe this property was located roughly where the Naval Hospital was built opposite Coaster's Island. Richardson describes the moving of the graves as a consequence of development: "These stones were removed to the ____ Wm. lot in Old Ground [Common Burial Ground] Oct. 25, 1889, the farm then being cut up into house lots and the burial ground left in the street."
