CommentTranscribed by Irene Nebiker in early 1970's. Transcribed and registered by Roger Beaudry March 2, 1997. We (KIW) used Irene’s diagram on the RI Historic cemetery site to know what it looked like in 1970. The footstones since 1970 were missing. Given that the cemetery has no defined area, we decided it was best to find field stones and mark the graves with footstones to show where the bodies lay. The child grave based on the diagram was not marked at all so we put field stones to mark that grave as well but the are not the original field stones. We did not put a footstone at one grave in the middle of the other graves as the diagram shows no footstone at that one. The field stone headstones are the assumed original as the were found laying flat in a row along the line of the engraved “Lydia Mowry” stone and those were uprighted.
