CommentThis cemetery was transcribed by James N Arnold on April 24, 1908. It is listed in Volume 25, Pages 287-289, under Smithfield. He describes this cemetery as: "One the John Sayles Farm now owned by Mr Field at Field's Station in sight of the station. Lot fenced by iron rails and granite posts, yard covered with brush & briers." Cemetery was also transcribed by Irene Nebiker in the early 1970's. Transcribed by Roger Beaudry & Paul Delisle on February 25, 1995. Owner of property (David Gold) has begun to restore lot. Brush has been cleared and some stones which had been buried were found. Mr Gold had even gone so far as to replace some missing granite blocks with new ones made of pressure treated wood cut to the same size. Transcribed by Ron Farrar circa 1970.
