CommentLocated 150 feet west of Greenville Road behind #731. This cemetery was surveyed by Irene Nebiker in the early 1970's and again by Roger Beaudry on November 25, 1994. At the time of survey, cemetery was badly overgrown with weeds and brush. Charles & Martha Benns list 7 stones in this cemetery in Volume IV page 69. They list it as a continuation of #230 which is the old portion of Union Cemetery. This cemetery is miles away from Union Village. They head the page with "At Union Village, near Woonsocket" Transcribed by Ethel M. White Jan 31, 1937. She describes lot as "Route 5 - near Smithfield Union Meeting House 1860 in field near stone wall." She appears to have combined this cemetery along with 3 graves from SM003 in Smithfield and SC048 in Scituate. Transcribed by Ron Farrar circa 1970. "John Harris--Providence Pike"
